About

Halo[space], often referred to as just “The Space” or “The Studio” is located on SE 122nd & Holgate, tucked behind the Plaid Pantry and a bookkeeping office. The space is a converted pole barn, with a large open area for bigger projects as well as a complete recording studio. Although the space is open to the public, it is primarily used for Halospace programs, and established groups or production projects. As such, we are open sporadically throughout the week but always around on the weekends for podcast recordings and other events. If you’d like to drop by for any reason during the week, please reach out to us first to set up a time.

Location

Our address is 12244 SE Holgate Blvd, Portland, OR 97236. We are located in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood, near the intersection of SE 122nd Ave and SE Holgate Blvd. Parking is limited, but there is availability on the street as well as some in the lot behind the building. The space is accessible by public transit, with a #17 bus stop right next to Plaid.

Here is a better street view of the location from Holgate. The building is through the white gate, which is open during operating hours. Plaid pantry is the building off to the right, and the bookkeeping business is in the house to the left.
